If you know nothing about Star Wars newest character “Baby Yoda”, then congratulations from staying away from social media. The character was introduced at the end of the first episode of The Mandalorian and has swept the hearts of fans everywhere. Earlier in the week, it was revealed that no one would be able to grab any merch of the character as it was planned to keep the secret reveal at the premiere episode’s end.
For those of you frustrated by the news, we have some good news for you: it appears that merchandise for the Baby Yoda (referred to as “The Child”) is coming to a retailer near you soon. The reason for the late delay was to prevent any leaks of the character through toy previews.
Now, while there isn’t any firm release date for the items, they could arrive in the coming weeks. Apparel and accessories featuring the yet unnamed creature will soon be available through Amazon, Zazzle, Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Hot Topic and Box Lunch, a person familiar with the company plans said. These items could arrive as early as Friday.
Other products will also arrive at the Disney Store, ShopDisney and at the Disney Parks before the holidays. In addition, presales for toys and plush will be available in the coming weeks. It is uncertain when that merchandise will be shipped. So, you’ll be able to satisfy your hearts content for all things “Baby Yoda”.
If you haven’t been following the series on Disney+, everyone is referring to the character as “Baby Yoda” because we have no other information about the character. It is the same species of Yoda (we assume), but there is no other information except that it is Force sensitive. With Chapter III out today, hopefully, we will get more information on the character and more sweet moments to love it.
